Zenith Tecnica Acquired, Plans Major Titanium EBM Capacity Expansion

Zenith Tecnica, a contract manufacturer specializing in titanium parts produced via Electron Beam Melting (EBM), has announced a change in ownership and an ambitious plan to increase its production capacity. The company, which serves demanding sectors such as aerospace, medical, and other industrial clients, was acquired by an ownership group with extensive experience in aerospace production and global industrial operations.

The acquisition, finalized on June 18, 2026, is driven by the objective of scaling the business. Zenith Tecnica has experienced demand that outstrips its current facility's capabilities. Since its inception in 2014, the company has operated a fleet of EBM machines, which has grown to six. The expansion plan involves immediately increasing this fleet to eight machines, a move Zenith Tecnica states will solidify its position among the world's leading EBM producers.

Andrew Burgess and Blair Jordan, the new owners, bring a background in aerospace manufacturing, including work on projects for Boeing and Amazon's satellite initiatives, as well as experience in highly regulated food and dairy environments. Their immediate priorities include integrating two additional EBM machines into operation and relocating to a larger facility. This expansion aims to increase output and accommodate more complex projects for international customers.

Zenith Tecnica holds AS9100 and ISO 13485 certifications and asserts it operates one of the largest EBM fleets globally. The company views this acquisition as the commencement of a significant expansion phase, leveraging new capital and operational expertise to meet rising demand across aerospace, medical, and advanced manufacturing markets without compromising its established quality standards.
