Würth Additive Group Ceases Operations

Würth Additive Group has officially confirmed the closure of its additive manufacturing division. This confirmation comes via a short statement posted on the company's LinkedIn page, following earlier indications of a 'wind-down' by its Director of Global Technology and Technical Projects, Mikhail Gladkikh, who departed the business two weeks prior.

The official statement, approximately 50 words in length, asserts that Würth Additive Group is "committed to an orderly closure of all operations." The company has not publicly disclosed any specific reasons for discontinuing its additive manufacturing activities. Würth, a multinational conglomerate, entered the additive manufacturing sector in 2017 and established the Würth Additive Group business unit in 2021. Notably, Würth Additive Group had announced a collaboration with B9Creations at the AMUG Conference 2026, aimed at integrating their respective digital inventory and QA/QC frameworks.
