Creality Launches SPARKX i7 Nano with Multi-Color Printing

Shenzhen-based 3D printer maker Creality has released the SPARKX i7 Nano, a desktop 3D printer that adds four-color printing to its i7 series in a smaller form factor. The printer became available on August 15, bundled with a new CFS nano Kit, through the Creality US Store. The i7 Nano follows the January launch of the i7 Color Combo and is designed for a smaller desktop footprint than earlier i7 models.

The printer includes a built-in spool holder that mounts directly onto the printer body using a snap-on mechanism, eliminating the need for a separate external CFS Lite unit. This design, combined with an optimized filament layout, keeps the printer compact. For multi-color printing, the i7 Nano pairs with the CFS nano Kit, a compact unit mounted on top that handles automatic filament switching across up to four colors. The kit uses a dual-motor system for filament channel switching and feeding/retraction, and is compatible with existing i7 units without requiring complex disassembly.

The i7 Nano also features CubeMe, which converts 2D portrait images into multi-color 3D models. A 720p AI camera monitors prints and detects common failures like spaghetti errors and air printing. The printer also applies vibration compensation and dynamic pressure adjustment to maintain consistent output during printing.
